As the MO half of MOWY Vacation Rentals, Jamie and Tara Varner call Jefferson City, Missouri, home!! Jamie has worked for the Missouri Department of Corrections for 20 years, so he has some stories! Tara owns/operates a full service, all lines insurance brokerage, which assists clients in MO, IA, IL, AR, KS! When the Varner’s are not working (which is hard since technology makes it easy to work from everywhere), they love hanging out with their Fur Kids, Bella & Brody, and going on Motorcycle trips!!
Jamie and Tara have been involved in the Vacation Rental/STR space since 2016, & love the connections to amazing people it’s afforded them to make, along with the ability to give folks warm and inviting spaces to relax during their travels.
Fun Fact: Neither Jamie or Tara grew up in Jefferson City! They both were “transplanted”, met in 2009, and the rest is history!! 🙂
As the Wyoming half of MOWY Vacation Rentals, Mike and Amie Dowdall call Rock Springs, Wyoming, home! They both work in the Oil and Gas industry, often in remote locations far from Wyoming. When they are home, they love being involved with their family, especially as “Grammy” and “Pops” to their granddaughter, Rory, aka Roo! In their down time, the Dowdall’s love to Jeep, relax with friends, and travel!!
Mike and Amie wanted to be involved in the Vacation Rental business to help create amazing spaces for people needing comfortable, well appointed rentals for work, family, or fun! As avid travelers themselves, they understand how important considerate, clean, and convenient lodging is!
Fun fact: Mike and Amie’s anniversary is one day before Jamie (Amie’s brother) and Tara’s! They both were married in Las Vegas, with family, the same weekend in 2011! The two couples love to travel and see the world together!!
